Diaspora (London). In her native Ghanaian language of Twi, Ohema Ohene translates to Queen & King–drawing inspiration from both her West African roots and London pedigree, Abenaa Pokuaa’s line of ethnic-inspired clothing and accessories seeks to evoke the royalty of the wearer. Using authentic african textiles, and meshing influences from British fashion and Japanes style stenciling, Ohema Ohene breathes new life into the traditional prints of Ghana.
